Phil Blackmer

Phil has been a dedicated trainer and coach in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn for over a decade where he honed his expertise in the intricacies of kinesiology and achieving perfect form. The moments that truly make his day are when a client who used to "abhor exercise" comes in for a session excitedly asking if they will be able to bench press or deadlift (or whatever motion) in today's session. Having overcome his own fair share of injuries, setbacks, and a changing relationship with fitness, Phil is committed to ensuring your workouts not only maximize results for minimal effort but also become a source of genuine anticipation throughout your week. After coaching individuals of varying fitness and mobility levels, ranging from age 16 to 83, Phil is excited to debut his own personal training studio. His goal is simple: to meet you where you are, uplift you to new heights of fitness and confidence, and make sure you have a blast along the way!
