    I've been working out with Phil on and off for about 7 years at this gym and the old one he worked out. Over that time he's helped me rehab my shoulder, ankle and later my neck, increase my strength and mobility, hit a few PRs, and helped me improve my "doing normal stuff" strength. He's always incredibly attentive to what I'm trying to accomplish and what my body currently needs, and does specific programming around it towards long term goals. I have less experience training with the other trainers here, but when I do they are always wonderful and attentive as well! I always leave with sore muscles but feeling better than when I walked in!

    Starting personal training at Oak Fitness is by far one of the best decisions I've ever made. I have done personal training before, but I never really enjoyed it as much as I do now. Phil is wonderful -- always challenging me and making me work -- I love that he also takes the time to add in some physical therapy work outs. So far all the trainers I have met at Oak have been so nice and welcoming. I haven't trained with Arthur, but he has been so great with the paperwork and pricing aspects of the gym. I love that it is a small space, that I am normally training one on one without any other person being trained by another trainer. I appreciate the effort and the thought that is put into my training schedule. I am always raving about it to anyone who wants to hear, so I 10000% recommend Oak Fitness for anyone looking to integrate fitness into their lives, or for someone who is already into fitness and wants a new place.

    Arthur and Phil are both so welcoming! I’m just starting my fitness journey and really appreciative of how approachable they’re making this change be. They hold me accountable but don’t push me to over do it, while also taking my previous injuries/surgeries into consideration. I never thought I’d be doing deadlifts! Seems like a good spot for people further along too, I had no idea they make dumbbells that heavy.
